Take Center Stage: Acting 2 (Grades 3-5)

Take Center Stage is a wonderful introduction to the world of theatre and the performing arts. Students will learn specific techniques that develop their mind, voice, and body for a confident and honest theatrical performance. Improvisation, scene study, voice and diction, and movement are all infused into this “play performance class”. As collaboration is essential to the creation of theatre, students will develop social skills required to find creative solutions for problems as a member of a team. They will learn to confidently express their own ideas and respect the ideas of others.  Actors will be given roles, scripts and will need to memorize their lines as part of their rehearsal process.
