Acting, Improvisation & Musical Theatre – Winter: Monday

Grades 1-3

(no class February 17th, March 16 & Apr. 13th – makeup date for missed class due to inclement weather is May 11th.)

This class is designed to ignite your child’s imagination. We’ll create a variety of characters and explore the fun-filled world of theatre through creating a variety of characters. How does a character walk, talk, think, engage with other characters? The class will consist of acting games, improvisation, skits, dance & music. Parent observation day will be during the last class of the session, where we will perform scenes and improvised skits.

All class sizes are small to insure a safe & nurturing environment. This allows students to explore more freely as well as to receive individual attention. All classes consist of improvisation games, scene study, movement, technique, character development, audition preparation, voice and diction and an opportunity to build self-confidence!
