Walking into Fairfield Performing Arts Studio summer camp every June is a moment I look forward to all year. Jennifer's lessons in acting, singing and dancing not only made me a well- rounded performer with skills in every aspect of musical theatre, but also allowed me to grow as a person and meet many lifelong friends. Jen's trust in me with many difficult roles and her guidance in helping me execute them while still creating a wonderful camp experience and has made my three years at her summer camp an unforgettable experience!

Hello Jennifer, I really like your acting class, and although I forgot my lines once and improvised, it is all around awesome. What I like most about your class is that you motivate us (along with your assistants) as hard as you can. And also I like that if we dislike our parts (like I didn’t want to be Mr. Smee), you always find a way to help us believe in ourselves and like the part. I also like the emotion games because it’s fun and it teaches me how to express myself on stage.

Fairfield Performing Arts Studio has been a huge part of my life for five years. The three weeks of camp is always the highlight of my summer. Thanks to this camp, my acting, singing, and dance has improved dramatically, and the way the counselors teach keep all of us wanting to learn even more. I think I can speak for all the campers when I say this camp is an amazing opportunity to have a taste of acting on a professional stage. As soon as my first year there was over, I knew I'd want to keep returning. All the learning aside, it's also a friendly environment where everyone feels comfortable. I've made some incredible friends that are still returning to camp with me to this day. All in all, FPAS is an educational but fun experience that every new (or returning) actor/actress should try.

My daughters have been involved with FPAS for many years.  The after school classes are a great introduction to acting, and the summer camp is just amazing.  The quality of the production that is put together after only 3 weeks of camp is remarkable.  Jennifer is wonderful with the students--getting them all involved and helping each child feel comfortable on stage.  I've seen increased confidence in my girls that has carried over to other areas of their lives.  They have thoroughly enjoyed their time with the program.  I highly recommend FPAS for all ages!

Jennifer, I just want to thank you for running the best camp ever! Luke loves LOVES everything about your shows: the counsellors (especially Robbie), the material, the classes and rehearsals and the final performances. You have certainly given him a deep love of musical theatre. Thank you. Luke has made me promise that we will come back to Fairfield for a summer sometime in the future so that he can join your camp again. I will do my best....so here's hoping our paths cross again in a couple of years' time! Please pass on my congratulations and appreciation to your staff - they are an amazing group, truly inspiring. I LOVE FPAS! It's really fun getting to act, sing and dance every day! The best part is doing a full performance on a stage at the end, complete with costumes and sets. I really enjoy it and recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun learning about all the things that go into performing a show.
