My children have participated in FPAS camps and classes for over five years and have grown tremendously due to the passionate, thoughtful, and creative instruction, the dedication and encouragement of the teachers, and the warm and inviting atmosphere as well as the strong friendships they have made.  The experience has been exceptional on so many levels -- like no other!

Hello Jennifer, I really like your acting class, and although I forgot my lines once and improvised, it is all around awesome. What I like most about your class is that you motivate us (along with your assistants) as hard as you can. And also I like that if we dislike our parts (like I didn’t want to be Mr. Smee), you always find a way to help us believe in ourselves and like the part. I also like the emotion games because it’s fun and it teaches me how to express myself on stage.

I had so much fun in class tonight. It was awesome doing the improvs….I like how the class was not intimidating and the kids were so friendly. I felt like I could be myself.

Jessica loves FPAS!  She loves you and your colleagues as teachers, loves the cast-mates that have become friends, and loves the camaraderie built among the summer campers.  That is why she has taken every school-year session since we have moved here, and can't wait to do both camps this summer! Walking into Fairfield Performing Arts Studio summer camp every June is a moment I look forward to all year. Jennifer's lessons in acting, singing and dancing not only made me a well- rounded performer with skills in every aspect of musical theatre, but also allowed me to grow as a person and meet many lifelong friends. Jen's trust in me with many difficult roles and her guidance in helping me execute them while still creating a wonderful camp experience and has made my three years at her summer camp an unforgettable experience!
